Sebastian D'Acunto

Sebastian D’Acunto, a partner in the firm, practices primarily in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Transactions, Construction Law, Insurance Law, Commercial and Corporate Transactions, and Trusts and Estates. Mr. D'Acunto is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, and is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Mr. D’Acunto graduated with a B.A. in International Relations from Central Connecticut State University in 1998, and Pace University Law School with a J.D. in 2002. He is a dual citizen of the United States and Italy, and is fluent in Italian.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. D'Acunto dedicates his time to a variety of not-for-profit causes and public service. He currently serves the City of Stamford as an appointed member of the Tax Assessment Board of Appeals. Mr. D'Acunto is also a member of and General Counsel to the charitable organization UNICO (Stamford Chapter).

Seminars Taught: “U.S. Product Liability Issues to Consider: Managing risk and minimizing liability in the US market”. Presented to European manufacturers and insurers that conduct business in the United States. Centro Congressi Palazzo delle Stelline, Milan, Italy - March 2004.

Richard J. Sandor, Jr., a Partner in the firm, practices primarily in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Transactions, Banking Law, Lending Transactions, including complex bond financing, Construction Law, Land Use and Zoning, Trusts and Estates, and not-for-profit corporation law. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut , New York , and Colorado , is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Fairfield County Bar Association, and the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Sandor graduated with a B.A. cum laude from University of Colorado in 1992, and Albany Law School of Union University with a J.D. in 1995 where he was also an Edgar A. Sandman Fellow .

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Sandor dedicates his time to a variety of not-for-profit causes including Habitat for Humanity and the Kevin M. Eidt Memorial Scholarship Fund.

His publications include: “Life After the City of Chicago?” Albany Law Environmental Outlook, Vol. 1, Spring 1995.
